The Internal Security Forces documented a traffic safety violation involving a pickup truck carrying students during a school year-end celebration on June 11, 2026.

On June 11, 2026, the New Traffic Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit filed a violation report against the owner of a pickup truck that was transporting baccalaureate students from the second section during their celebration marking the end of the academic year. The manner of transportation endangered the students and violated traffic safety regulations, according to the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division.
The General Directorate reiterated the dangers associated with certain behaviors during year-end celebrations, particularly the organization of vehicle convoys, the use of trucks and machinery not intended for passenger transport, sitting on vehicle windows or protruding from sunroofs, and the use of fireworks. These actions pose risks to the safety of participants and other road users.
