Iran states that halting the war in Lebanon is a fundamental condition in its memorandum of understanding with the United States.

Ismail Baqaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, declared that Iran does not intend to permit International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors to visit nuclear sites targeted during the war. He emphasized that the understanding is based on respect and adherence to reality, warning that any arrogant discourse would undermine the agreement’s progress.
Baqaei further stated that ending the war in Lebanon is a fundamental condition within the memorandum of understanding with the United States. He also noted that Iran is free to manage its frozen funds that will be released, affirming that no restrictions apply to these funds.
