Iran's Quds Force leader threatens Israel with a repeat of its 2000 humiliating withdrawal from southern Lebanon if it does not leave voluntarily.

Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force in Iran's Revolutionary Guard, issued a warning to Israel, threatening a repetition of its humiliating withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000 if Israeli forces do not leave voluntarily.
Addressing Israeli soldiers in a message delivered in Hebrew, Qaani stated, "You have suffered 100 killed and wounded in less than four days, and if you do not withdraw on your own, you will be expelled defeated with kicks, as happened in the 2000 epic."
In a related development, Mohsen Rezaei, advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, held the United States responsible for Israeli attacks and provocations in Lebanon, asserting that Washington is behind the current escalation.
