Israeli leaders confirm ongoing commitment to remain in southern Lebanon's security zone while pursuing a peace agreement with Lebanon.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel will exert all efforts to reach a peace agreement with Lebanon.
He added, "We will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon whenever necessary."
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz declared, "We are fighting in Lebanon to change the reality, not to revert to the previous situation, and we will not withdraw from the security zones in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza."
