Israel launched a series of airstrikes on southern Lebanon following evacuation orders to residents of 20 towns, including Nabatieh.
Lebanese official media reported that Israel carried out multiple airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Saturday after its military issued evacuation warnings to inhabitants of 20 towns, among them the city of Nabatieh.
The National News Agency stated that the air raids targeted several towns, including Kfar Houneh, Al-Rihaneh, and Sajd, with the latter two located not far from Nabatieh.
Avichay Adraee, the Israeli army spokesperson in Arabic, posted an urgent warning on the platform X, instructing residents of 20 villages and towns to evacuate and move northward toward northern Al-Zahrani, approximately forty kilometers from the border.
Last month, the Israeli military designated the area south of the Al-Zahrani River as a "combat zone" and has been targeting it since then.
