Israeli officials state no U.S. request to withdraw from southern Lebanon has been received, emphasizing the army's presence at the Blue Line remains a red line.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that officials have confirmed no American request for withdrawal from southern Lebanon has been received to date. They stressed that the Israeli army's continued presence along the Blue Line constitutes a red line.
The officials further indicated that Israel is evaluating the possibility of withdrawing from the Qalaat al-Shaqif area in southern Lebanon. Additionally, Israel has informed the United States about the potential for limited withdrawals from Lebanon as a goodwill gesture.
