Israel's military intercepted missiles launched by Hezbollah from southern Lebanon targeting northern Israel near Metula.

The Israeli military reported detecting and intercepting a missile fired early Sunday by Hezbollah from southern Lebanon aimed at northern Israel.
According to Channel 12, sirens sounded in the Metula area as the Israeli army declared a state of high alert to manage the situation.
The Hebrew channel released a video it said captured the moment the missiles launched by Hezbollah toward northern Israel were intercepted.
Simultaneously, Hezbollah announced it had targeted Israeli army vehicles and troops stationed in the town of Majdal Zun in southern Lebanon with missile fire.
Israel is preparing to halt any ground advances and is maintaining its stance on the security zone in Lebanon.
