Israeli Army Prepares to Launch Attack on South Lebanon in Coming Hours
The Israeli military announced its readiness to strike southern Lebanon, issuing warnings to residents of northern Israel and raising alert levels along the border.

The Israeli army announced today, Sunday, its readiness to launch an attack in southern Lebanon, directing warnings to residents of the north.
According to the newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth," the army informed residents of Kiryat Shmona and towns in the Galilee that it is preparing to launch an attack on Lebanon within the coming hours, and explosions will be heard in the area as a result of the strikes.
The Israeli army did not address details regarding the nature of the attack.
Israeli media reports indicated that alert levels have been raised on both northern fronts, in the occupied Golan Heights and southern Lebanon, with reinforced troop deployments.
A Lebanese military delegation is scheduled to present demands for a halt to Israeli attacks during a tripartite meeting in the United States on October 20, according to Reuters earlier today.
