Israeli Forces Conduct Intensive Inspections and Aerial Surveillance in Southern Quneitra and Rural Damascus
Israeli forces demolished an abandoned building in rural Damascus and conducted inspections in southern Quneitra amid intensified military movements near the ceasefire line.
Israeli forces today demolished an abandoned building located in the middle of agricultural lands known as "Al-Kurum," between the town of Beit Jinn and the Beit Jinn farm in western rural Damascus, during a military incursion into the area.
No information was received regarding the presence of people inside the building at the moment of its demolition, nor were any human casualties recorded according to available data, while the reasons for targeting the building remained unclear.
This coincided with the continuation of Israeli military movements around Beit Jinn and nearby areas, at a time when the region is witnessing repeated incursions and field movements that have raised a state of anticipation among residents.
In rural Quneitra, the vicinity of the Al-Hamidya base north of the governorate witnessed the firing of illumination flares toward surrounding agricultural lands yesterday, coinciding with intensive surveillance aircraft flights over the area.
Last night, an Israeli force consisting of about four vehicles, accompanied by reconnaissance aircraft, advanced toward the western neighborhood in the village of Al-Asbah in southern rural Quneitra, where they conducted searches inside several homes, including breaking doors, without reports of arrests.
These simultaneous movements in rural Damascus and Quneitra come within the framework of ongoing field escalation along areas close to the ceasefire line, amid ambiguity regarding the nature and scope of upcoming Israeli operations.
