Israeli Leadership Affirms Maintaining Security Zone in Southern Lebanon

The Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and Army Chief of Staff of Israel issued a joint statement following a security meeting, declaring that the forces will continue to work on "neutralizing" threats facing Israeli soldiers and citizens, dismantling the infrastructure of armed groups, and maintaining the security zone in southern Lebanon.

The statement further emphasized that the three officials "clearly affirmed that the security of Israeli citizens and the army forces will remain the guiding principle that admits no compromise."
