Italian UNIFIL Unit Provides Aid to Displaced Families in Tyre
The Italian contingent of UNIFIL delivered humanitarian aid to displaced families in the Tyre area, supporting those affected by current conditions.

The Italian unit operating within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) distributed humanitarian and relief assistance to displaced persons in the Tyre region as part of its ongoing support to residents impacted by the current situation.
The aid was handed over in the presence of UNIFIL's Western Sector commander, General Andrea Fratacelli, and Hassan Dabouq, head of the Union of Municipalities of the Tyre District, along with representatives from relevant local authorities. The assistance included food supplies for displaced families.
Engineer Hassan Dabouq delivered a speech expressing gratitude to "the Italian force serving within UNIFIL and the Italian people for this humanitarian initiative," praising "Italy's continuous support to residents and displaced persons in the Tyre area," and emphasizing that "these aids help alleviate the living burdens faced by families under the current circumstances."
General Andrea Fratacelli affirmed "UNIFIL's ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and cooperating with local authorities to enhance humanitarian efforts and reduce civilian suffering."
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the importance of sustained collaboration between UNIFIL, local authorities, and humanitarian organizations to assist residents and displaced persons and strengthen their resilience.
