Former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Joumblatt responded in an interview with "L'Orient-Le Jour" newspaper to "what was attributed to the US State Department": "I remind everyone that before signing the tripartite framework with Israel, no one in Lebanon was consulted: neither the Parliament nor the Cabinet. Therefore, I have the right to express my opinion."
