The Judicial Assistants Follow-up Committee appealed to Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Justice Minister Adel Nassar to rectify appointment decisions from 2014, demanding the hiring of remaining successful candidates.

The Judicial Assistants Follow-up Committee appealed in a statement to Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Justice Minister Adel Nassar, "to stand for justice with a group who succeeded based on their competence since 2014 but were not appointed due to political and sectarian considerations. Your government participated in their non-appointment when the unjust Decision No. 7 was issued, which appointed 100 people and undermined the remaining successful candidates, while we demand opening a new cycle to appoint 250."
The statement concluded: "We demand that you amend this unjust decision and appoint the remaining successful candidates (from the fifth batch – clerks and direct hires). Correcting a mistake is a virtue, and you are people of wisdom and justice. We await your wise decision after the first session of the government."
