The accusatory body in the North, led by Judge Nidal Shams Al-Din and including advisors Jad Al-Hashim and Lara Kozak, issued a ruling affirming the decision to bar prosecution against Pascal Elia, the head of North Customs. This ruling was originally issued by the investigating judge in the North, Jocelyn Matta.
The public prosecution office in the North had appealed the initial decision before the accusatory body.
