Land Transport Unions – Transit Demanded Fairness for the Sector

Mohammad Kamal al-Khair, Vice President of the Land Transport and Transit Unions, demanded fairness for the sector, stating that "the state is negligent in all directions, especially in Miniyeh-Danniyeh and throughout the North, amidst the tragic conditions citizens are living through."

He noted that "the challenges facing the transit and shipping sector are significant while the measures taken are few, with a disparity and lack of harmony between what is required and what is available on the ground." He pointed out that "Wednesday will be pivotal, and if we take to the streets, we will not leave them."
