The Lebanese Army announced training exercises in the Qaa-Baalbek region from August 17 to August 20, 2026, involving live fire with medium and heavy weapons daily between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Announced by the Army Command in a statement: "A unit of the army will conduct training exercises in the Qaa - Baalbek area starting on 17 / 8 / 2026 until 20 / 8 / 2026 inclusive, between 8.00 and 16.00 each day, including live fire using medium and heavy weapons.
