Lebanese Civil Defense Extinguishes a Fire in Tyre Over an Area of 600,000 Square Meters

Issued by the Media and Public Relations Department in the General Directorate of the Lebanese Civil Defense, a statement read: "Teams of the Lebanese Civil Defense extinguished a fire that broke out in the Tyre area, consuming an estimated area of about 600,000 square meters of dry grass and fruit trees.

Numerous Lebanese Civil Defense vehicles participated in the extinguishing operations, where personnel, after continuous field efforts, managed to contain and control the flames, preventing their spread to neighboring lands and properties.

The Lebanese Civil Defense affirms its continued implementation of its humanitarian and relief missions, placing its readiness and capabilities at the service of citizens, and always standing by their side."
