Lebanese Health Minister Receives Medical Aid from Oman

The Minister of Public Health, Rakan Nasrallah, received a donation from the Sultanate of Oman, delivered by Oman's ambassador to Lebanon, Ahmed Al-Saedi, consisting of twenty medical devices for treating epilepsy cases.

Following the ambassador’s visit to his office at the ministry, Minister Nasrallah expressed gratitude to the Sultanate for "all the support provided to Lebanon, particularly in the health sector," and affirmed that "the ministry will distribute these devices to public health institutions across various regions of Lebanon to serve the Lebanese people, especially those with limited means."

Nasrallah also emphasized that "the ministry is doing everything possible to leverage external support as well as its own budget to strengthen healthcare services, whether through expanding coverage, updating medicine schedules, surgical operations, vaccines, and other essential areas."

In turn, the Omani ambassador affirmed that "this donation reflects the strong and deep-rooted ties between Lebanon and the Sultanate of Oman," highlighting "the importance of supporting the health sector, which remains one of the most critical service sectors in Lebanon."

He added: "Oman continues to stand alongside the Government of Lebanon, committed to preserving and strengthening fraternal relations."
