Lebanese Official Denies to Reuters Agreement with Israel on List for Hezbollah Arms Verification Forces

A Lebanese official denied to Reuters reports that Lebanon had agreed with Israel on a shortlist of countries permitted to send forces to verify Hezbollah's disarmament.

He said Beirut is following up on this matter with Washington.

The official confirmed there is no such agreement, noting that Beirut continues to hold discussions with the United States on this issue.
