A Lebanese official denied reports by Reuters claiming Lebanon had agreed with Israel on a list of countries allowed to send forces to verify Hezbollah's disarmament. Beirut is currently discussing the issue with Washington.
A Lebanese official denied to Reuters reports that Lebanon had agreed with Israel on a shortlist of countries permitted to send forces to verify Hezbollah's disarmament.
He said Beirut is following up on this matter with Washington.
The official confirmed there is no such agreement, noting that Beirut continues to hold discussions with the United States on this issue.
