Lebanese Olympic Committee File on the Table at Baabda
President Joseph Aoun met with Sheikh Faisal Ahmed Ali Al Thani, head of the Asian Olympic Council's office, to discuss the situation of the Lebanese Olympic Committee. The meeting highlighted the role of sports and athletes in Lebanon and emphasized adherence to regulations and Olympic principles.
President Joseph Aoun received Sheikh Faisal Ahmed Ali Al Thani, Head of the Office of the President of the Asian Olympic Council, and discussed the situation of the Lebanese Olympic Committee.
Sheikh Faisal praised the role of sports and Lebanese athletes, emphasizing the importance of working responsibly and respecting established laws, regulations, and Olympic statutes.
The meeting was attended by the Director of International Relations of the Council and the accompanying delegation, along with Minister of Youth and Sports Nora Birkdarayan and Qatari Ambassador to Beirut Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
