Lebanon Extends Foreign Worker Residency Regularization Until September 2026
The General Directorate of General Security in Lebanon has extended the deadline for foreign workers to regularize their residency status until September 30, 2026.

The General Directorate of General Security in Lebanon has issued a statement through its Media Affairs Office announcing the extension of the residency regularization period for foreign workers residing illegally, as well as the regulation of Syrian labor force status in Lebanon.
This extension will remain effective until September 30, 2026, inclusive.
The statement emphasized that after this deadline, authorities will strictly enforce existing laws and regulations against all non-Lebanese residents living in the country without legal authorization.
