Salameh discussed bilateral relations and local and regional developments with the Russian ambassador

Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh discussed bilateral relations and local and regional developments, in addition to cooperation between the two countries in the cultural sector and its development, with Russia's Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Rudakov in his office.

He said: "Today I met His Excellency the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, and it was an occasion during which we confirmed the necessity of renewing the joint work program in the cultural field between the two countries. We also discussed other cultural activities that we can undertake with the participation of the rising generation in Lebanon. We also addressed a number of general affairs in the country and the region, which are matters that concern all of us, and also our Russian friends."

Rudakov pointed out that "first of all, we are very grateful to Minister Salameh for this opportunity to discuss opinions and ideas due to the critical regional situation. Of course, we discussed many topics about cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture. In fact, we are here to build and encourage the development of relations in this field. We also touched upon the developments in Lebanon and the region with Minister Salameh, who is the expert and chosen by all parties in the United Nations and in Russia."

He added: "We discussed many topics that concern Lebanon, Russia, the region, and even the situation in Russia."
