The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants issued a strong condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the Kingdom of Bahrain. In its statement, the ministry affirmed Lebanon's full solidarity with these brotherly countries, both their leadership and people, and supported the statement released by the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The ministry emphasized that such actions constitute blatant violations of state sovereignty, pose a direct threat to international maritime navigation and global energy supplies, and represent a flagrant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter. It also stressed that the security of the Gulf states is an integral part of the security of the entire region, and that any attack against it endangers regional stability and security as a whole.

Lebanon called for an immediate halt to these attacks and full adherence to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817. It supported the call for an urgent Security Council session and urged the council to fully assume its responsibilities to ensure the implementation of the resolution and to put an end to these violations. Additionally, Lebanon demanded accountability for those responsible under international law and insisted that all disputes be resolved through ongoing negotiations to safeguard freedom of navigation, prevent further escalation, and strengthen security and stability in the region.
