Lebanon's Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Hajjar Arrives in Kuwait to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Ahmed Al-Hajjar, Lebanon's Minister of Interior and Municipalities, arrived in Kuwait on an official visit following an invitation from Sheikh Fahad Youssef Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. Sheikh Fahad welcomed Al-Hajjar upon his arrival at Kuwait International Airport, with the presence of Lebanon's ambassador to Kuwait, Ghadi Al-Khoury, and the Deputy Head of the Consular Mission, Mia Al-Adham.

Upon arrival, Al-Hajjar emphasized the deep-rooted relationship between Lebanon and Kuwait, underscoring that Lebanon has always been at the heart of the Arab embrace. He affirmed Lebanon's consistent support for its Arab brothers, who have never withheld their support and assistance under various circumstances. Al-Hajjar expressed his commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination across multiple sectors.

Accompanying Al-Hajjar on this visit are Major General Raed Abdullah, Director General of Internal Security Forces; Major General Hassan Shaqir, Director General of General Security; and Rodina Marab, Acting Director General of Personal Status.

During his stay, Al-Hajjar is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with Kuwaiti officials to explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation. Additionally, he will inaugurate the biometric fingerprint service at the Lebanese embassy in Kuwait, marking the first time this service for issuing biometric passports is offered outside Lebanon.
