Lebanon's Interior Minister Thanks Kuwait for Its Support and Interest
Lebanon's Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Hajjar met Kuwait's Crown Prince to discuss bilateral cooperation and expressed gratitude for Kuwait's support to Lebanon.

During his official visit to Kuwait, Lebanon's Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmed Al-Hajjar, met with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. The meeting involved reviewing the close fraternal relations between Lebanon and Kuwait, as well as discussing several topics of mutual interest and ways to strengthen cooperation across various fields between the two countries and their peoples.
Al-Hajjar reaffirmed Lebanon's firm commitment to its Arab identity and its keenness to enhance relations with its Arab brothers. He also expressed appreciation for the interest and support shown by Kuwaiti officials toward Lebanon and its people.
Accompanying Minister Al-Hajjar at the meeting were the Director General of Internal Security Forces, Brigadier General Raed Abdullah; the Director General of General Security, Brigadier General Hassan Shaqir; the Acting Director General of Personal Status, Rodina Muraab; and Lebanon's Ambassador to Kuwait, Ghadi Al-Khouri.
The minister also met with the Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, conveying greetings from Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and his appreciation for Kuwait's support and assistance to Lebanon.
In response, Sheikh Al-Sabah sent his greetings to President Salam and wished Lebanon continued progress and prosperity.
Minister Al-Hajjar emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the Lebanese and Kuwaiti governments and activating channels of coordination and communication in various fields, particularly in security affairs.
