Marco Rubio States Lebanon Issue Is Separate from Iran

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi, stated that the Lebanon issue is separate from the Iran file, emphasizing that the United States deals directly with the Lebanese government. He added that hostilities in the region cannot end if Iran's proxies continue launching rockets.

Rubio also noted that no country is permitted to impose fees or taxes on international waterways.

He confirmed his intention to reassure Gulf allies regarding the US-Iran understanding.
