Marqas: New Plan for Lebanon TV and Public Media Development

Information Minister Paul Marqas confirmed after meeting with President of the Republic Joseph Aoun that they "discussed the new plan to be launched by Lebanon TV, including its programs and updates in form and content, alongside a workshop for developing public media."

He added: "We emphasized the importance of protecting press freedoms and updating legislation, as well as the responsibility of media outlets to verify information and combat misleading and false news that may threaten stability and social safety."
