Meeting between President Aoun and the Jordanian Minister of Tourism

President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun received Jordanian Minister of Tourism Emad Hijazin, in the presence of Lebanese Minister of Tourism Laura Khazen Lahoud and Jordan's Ambassador to Lebanon Waleed Abdul Rahman Jafal Al-Hadid. Minister Hijazin briefed the President on the ongoing preparations in Jordan to celebrate the 2000th anniversary of the Baptism of Christ in the Jordan River, under the slogan "Jordan: Dawn of Christianity." The discussion also covered Lebanon's participation in these celebrations, as the "Land of Holiness," and the organization of joint activities for this occasion.
