Minister of Economy Receives Delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Bsat received today a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The meeting was an opportunity to get acquainted with the new Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, Mr. Hashem Abdulhakim, accompanied by Policy Director Mr. Dimitri Gvindadze and Beirut Office Director Alessandro Vitadini.

Discussions focused on ways the Bank can support Lebanon in the public sector and update governance to enhance the reform path, as well as the issue of lending to the private sector and supporting industry, renewable energy, and small and medium-sized enterprises.
