Minister Karamy Discusses Educational Affairs with Officials and Partners
Minister of Education Rima Karamy met with various officials and partners to discuss educational and administrative issues, focusing on general, vocational, and technical education in Akkar.

Minister of Education and Higher Education Rima Karamy received MP Walid Al-Ba'arini along with members of his educational office to discuss several educational and administrative files related to the educational sector, particularly focusing on general, vocational, and technical education in Akkar, as well as other related educational topics.
The delegation praised Minister Karamy's positions and efforts in supporting the education sector, especially public schools, emphasizing her role in enhancing their status and preserving their place within the educational process. They highlighted the positive impact this has on Lebanese society in general and on the community in Akkar in particular, stressing the importance of continued cooperation for the benefit of the educational sector, students, and teaching staff.
Minister Karamy also met with a delegation from the Japanese agency JICA, during which she reviewed the projects completed in collaboration with the Ministry. She expressed gratitude for the cooperation and expressed hope for renewed educational collaboration and support for the Ministry’s projects in the upcoming phase.
In another meeting, Karamy convened with Professor Hiam Ishaq, President of the Educational Research and Development Center, in the presence of the Minister’s Chief Advisor for Higher Education Affairs, Adnan Al-Amin. The discussion focused on the necessary standards for implementing the new educational curricula recently approved by the Cabinet.
Additionally, Minister Karamy received Jad Assi, President of the Syndicate of Electronic Publishers and Educational Media, accompanied by Patrick Rizkallah, a member of the Teachers Syndicate Council. They discussed the topic of utilizing electronic resources within the new educational curricula.
