Minister of Environment Signs MoUs with Akkar Municipalities to Equip Waste Sorting Centers

Minister of Environment Tamara Al-Zein will sign memorandums of understanding with a number of Akkar municipalities to equip dedicated centers for receiving and sorting recyclable materials, tomorrow Tuesday at 10:00 AM, at the Ministry of Environment building – Al-Azariya Building – in downtown Beirut.

The equipping comes within the framework of the project "Reducing Unintentionally Produced Persistent Organic Pollutants through Waste Management in a Circular Economy."
