Minister of Labor Mohammad Haidar received a delegation from the Union of Restaurant, Cafe, Catering, and Entertainment Owners in Lebanon, headed by Federation President Joseph Haddad. The meeting discussed the situation of tourism establishments and the challenges they face, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and the tourism sector to ensure the protection of Lebanese workers' rights, wage correction, and improved working conditions.

The delegation emphasized "the importance of taking practical measures to regulate the labor market and protect Lebanese manpower, given the difficult economic conditions the country is going through, which impose pressures on tourism establishments and their employees," stressing "the necessity of finding a fair balance between the continuity of establishments and the preservation of employees' rights."

Haidar also received a delegation representing the Association of Municipal Workers, headed by Wajdi Al-Taqi, with the attendance of legal and union advisor Issam Raydan. They discussed the proposed law initiating the inclusion of municipal employees under the National Social Security Fund's benefits, while the delegation affirmed "the lack of justification for including permanent staff under this law, as they are subject to Decree 112, the Civil Service Law."
