Minister of Public Works Opens Rehabilitation of Dahr al-Beydar Road

Minister of Public Works and Transport Faiq Rasamani, during the official inauguration of the Dahr al-Beydar road rehabilitation project, stated: "We have managed to adopt an integrated project at a significantly lower cost without compromising the required technical specifications."

He clarified that "cost-efficiency does not mean reducing quality; rather, it means spending public funds where the road truly needs them and achieving the best possible outcome."

He pointed out that "we are addressing and reinforcing eight collapse points, rehabilitating the road, resurfacing it, and re-routing it," adding that "these projects are for illuminating all roads and highways across Lebanon as they are essential, and lighting is a hybrid of electricity and solar energy."

Rasamani said: "We began work on the Dahr al-Beydar road to make it safer by adhering strictly to specifications, and when the workshop concludes, the road will be a model."
