The Ministry of Finance issued a clarification correcting published figures attributed to Minister Yassin Jaber regarding funds allocated to victims of Israeli attacks, stating that the correct amount is significantly higher than reported.

The media office of the Ministry of Finance issued the following: "Some media published, attributed to Finance Minister Yassin Jaber, incorrect figures resulting most likely from a misunderstanding or inaccurate follow-up of his statements and the details of what was allocated to assist victims of Israeli attacks at the health, social, relief, and other levels. It stated that the funds allocated in this regard are only 50 million US dollars, while the truth is that this amount is what was allocated to the Ministry of Social Affairs alone from the public treasury, in addition to 200 million dollars from the World Bank and 45 million euros, plus another 32 million from the European Union for the same ministry. This is in addition to tens of millions of dollars that the Ministry of Finance disbursed to the health sector through the Ministry of Health, in addition to tens of millions of dollars disbursed through the Higher Relief Commission and the Council of the South as they are the institutions concerned with relief work, in addition to the aid and support provided through the United Nations and humanitarian institutions, which amounted to more than 130 million dollars.
Accordingly, clarification was necessary."
