Ministry of Finance Sets October 31 Deadline for Income Tax Penalty Settlement

The Ministry of Finance stated in a press release: "All employers who wish to benefit from the settlement regarding verification and collection penalties due on income tax on salaries and wages, issued under self-assessment as per Decision No. 835/1 dated September 18, 2026, are required to adhere to the implicit deadline of 31/10/2026 for submitting late data or declarations for Chapter II tax, along with the payment of reduced penalties and the tax itself if applicable, in accordance with the provisions of Article 14 thereof."
