Netanyahu Affirms Israeli Forces' Full Freedom to Act in South Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Monday that Israeli forces possess "full freedom" to confront any threats in southern Lebanon, emphasizing that they will remain deployed in the area as long as necessary.

In a statement, Netanyahu said, "My directives, and those of the Defense Minister, to the Israeli army are clear and unchanged: our fighters in southern Lebanon have full freedom to act to thwart any direct or emerging threat to themselves or to the residents of the north. There are no restrictions on the Israeli army in this regard."
