Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu addresses Lebanon, emphasizing peace desires and distinguishing between Hezbollah and the Lebanese population.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed Lebanon in a message, stating that the sole obstacle to peace is Hezbollah, and that once it is dismantled, numerous opportunities for peace will emerge as Israel longs for peaceful relations with Lebanon.
He affirmed that Israel has killed 10,000 Hezbollah members and described the group as weaker than ever. Netanyahu also claimed that both Hezbollah and Iran repeatedly seek to drag Israel into war.
In his message to the Lebanese people, Netanyahu said that Hezbollah follows Iran's orders, uses Lebanese territory, and holds the country hostage. He emphasized that Israel is not at war with the Lebanese population.
