No More Trading: Central Criminal Investigation Targets Major Pharmaceutical Warehouses
The Prosecutor General ordered a central criminal investigation into major pharmaceutical companies' warehouses to seize medications and halt their circulation, following a request from the Minister of Health.

The Prosecutor General Ahmad Rami al-Hajj tasked the head of the Central Criminal Investigations Division with opening an investigation regarding the correspondence received from the Minister of Health, and the list of medications he had previously requested from the Director General of the Ministry of Health for investigation. This includes inspecting warehouses belonging to companies and agents importing those medications, in order to seize them, prevent their circulation, and identify the full identities of the company owners.
Inspections and medication seizures are to take place in the presence of an inspector from the Pharmacy and Inspection Department at the Ministry of Health, and the results must be reported to the Prosecutor General.
