Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri met with Public Works and Transport Minister Faysal Rassamni to review ministry programs, particularly road, bridge, and infrastructure rehabilitation efforts following Israeli attacks on Lebanon, especially in the south.

Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri received Public Works and Transport Minister Faysal Rassamni at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. Their discussion covered general conditions, recent developments, and the ministry’s operational programs—focusing specifically on rehabilitating roads, bridges, and infrastructure damaged by Israeli attacks on Lebanon, particularly in the south.
Berri also met with Alaa Abdel Hadi, Secretary-General of the General Union of Arab Writers and President of the General Syndicate of Writers in the Arab Republic of Egypt, accompanied by a delegation from the Union’s General Secretariat. Ahmed Nazzal, President of the Lebanese Writers’ Union, attended the meeting.
The gathering addressed the Union’s cultural and literary activities in Lebanon, Egypt, and the wider Arab world.
Among those visiting Berri was Muhammad Samih Ghaddar, former mayor of Ghazieh, along with a delegation representing municipal, electoral, social, and economic figures from the town.
