Parliamentary Public Works Committee Approves Two Draft Laws
The Parliamentary Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Energy and Water, chaired by MP Sajih Atiyah, approved two draft laws during its session.

The Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Energy and Water held a session chaired by MP Sajih Atiyah and the committee's rapporteur MP Mohammad Khawaja, along with MPs: Ibrahim Mneimneh, Hussein Jishi, Taha Naji, Antoine Habchi, Salim Aoun, Abdul Karim Kabbara, Faisal Al-Sayegh, Fouad Makhzoumi, Melhem Tawk, Adnan Traboulsi, Bilal Al-Hachimi, Nazih Matta, Razi Al-Hajj, Cesar Abi Khalil, Jihad Al-Samad and Qassem Hashem.
Also attending the session were the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Ambassador George Bitar, the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, George Maarawi, the Vice President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Ibrahim Shahrour, the Director of Public Debt, Rania Al-Shaar, the Director General of Tripoli Port, Ahmed Tamer, the Head of Operations Department at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Ali Haidar, and the Head of Roads and Buildings Department at the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Ramzi Kaldawi.
The committee studied its session's agenda, and following the discussion, it approved the two draft laws contained in decrees 3350 and 3351, while the committee will continue its agenda in subsequent sessions regarding the remaining items of the session's agenda.
