Peace and Arno Discuss the Situation in South Lebanon and the Post-UNIFIL Phase

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received United Nations Secretary-General's representative Jean Arnault at the Grand Serail.

The meeting addressed the latest regional developments and the situation in south Lebanon, as well as international arrangements for the phase following the end of UNIFIL's mandate.

Both sides emphasized the importance of shielding Lebanon from any escalation or regional developments.
