President Aoun Affirms Commitment to Negotiations and Calls for Ending Hostility with Israel
President Joseph Aoun stated Lebanon will not withdraw from negotiations and outlined key demands to end hostility with Israel.

President Joseph Aoun declared that the preferred option remains the state, as it provides protection for all citizens, emphasizing the need to accept Lebanon as a sovereign state.
He stated that the positions attained by any official are not a luxury but a responsibility, adding that an official must either meet the demands of their role and the weight of their decisions or remain at home.
Despite pressures to withdraw from the negotiations, President Aoun affirmed that Lebanon will not pull out and will continue the process until reaching outcomes that serve the nation's interests.
He further demanded an end to the state of hostility with Israel based on the following points: Israeli withdrawal, cessation of attacks, deployment of the army, and the return of displaced persons and prisoners.
