President Joseph Aoun extends greetings on the Hijri New Year, urging Lebanese unity amid regional challenges and national difficulties.

President Joseph Aoun extended his warmest congratulations and sincere wishes to all Lebanese, particularly Muslims, on the occasion of the new Hijri year. He prayed that the year brings goodness and security to the country and its people.
He stated that this blessed occasion arrives at a time when Lebanon is experiencing exceptionally critical circumstances, while the regional environment faces rapid developments and challenges requiring the highest levels of awareness and responsibility.
Aoun emphasized that today, more than ever, Lebanon—as a unique model—must reinforce national unity, rally around state institutions, and strengthen humanitarian and national solidarity to confront the looming threats, thereby preserving Lebanon’s sovereignty, security, and stability.
He expressed hope that recent developments will end the suffering of the Lebanese people, liberate the occupied land, and enable the pursuit of the aspirations for dignity, honor, and peace of mind sought by the Lebanese. He concluded by wishing everyone well for the year ahead.
