President Aoun: We Established a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence to Build a Modern State

During his meeting with Minister of Technology and Artificial Intelligence Kamal Shehadeh, President Joseph Aoun stressed "the importance of establishing the ministry," considering it "a fundamental step to keep pace with rapid global transformations and place Lebanon on the track of the digital and knowledge economy." He noted that "investment in this sector is not limited to developing public services and enhancing transparency, but also opens wide horizons for Lebanese youth for creativity and innovation, contributing to stimulating economic growth and attracting investments."

He affirmed that "this initiative comes at the heart of our vision to build a modern state, capable of using digital technology and artificial intelligence as tools to enhance good governance, improve quality of life, and consolidate Lebanon's position as a regional center for knowledge and technology."
