President Aoun Meets Prime Minister Salam to Discuss Southern Developments
President Joseph Aoun met with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss the general situation and developments in southern Lebanon, focusing on ceasefire enforcement and Israeli withdrawal.

President Joseph Aoun received Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to review the overall conditions in the country and the recent developments in the southern region. The discussion emphasized the importance of firmly establishing the ceasefire and accelerating the Israeli withdrawal from the designated experimental zones.
The talks also covered the government's preparations to ensure the necessary measures for reopening roads, clearing debris, and rehabilitating infrastructure to facilitate the return of residents to affected areas that are currently accessible, and those that will become accessible following the Israeli withdrawal.
Prime Minister Salam informed President Aoun of his planned official visit to Turkey and discussed with him the arrangements for the upcoming Cabinet session scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Grand Serail.
