President Joseph Aoun was briefed by Simon Karam, former ambassador and head of Lebanon’s negotiating delegation, on the discussions held last week in Rome among Lebanese, American, and Israeli delegations.

Aoun provided Karam with directives for the upcoming phase of negotiations.
