President Aoun: Technology, Innovation and Investment Are Key to Strengthening Agricultural Resilience
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met with FAO officials and the Agriculture Minister to discuss war impacts on agriculture, emphasizing that technology, innovation, and investment are essential for strengthening agricultural resilience.
Republic President Joseph Aoun discussed with the Deputy Director-General of the "FAO" organization, in the presence of Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani, the repercussions of the war on the agricultural sector and support for farmers.
President Aoun stated: "Priority goes to affected areas and enhancing the resilience of the agricultural sector; the needs of the agricultural sector must be converted into projects that are financeable and implementable."
He added: "Technology, innovation, and investment are the gateway to strengthening the resilience of Lebanese agriculture."
