President Aoun to Lebanese: Draw Lessons from Patience and Unity

President Joseph Aoun congratulated the Lebanese people in general and Muslims in particular on the occasion of the blessed Prophet’s birthday:

"This year, the blessed anniversary of the Prophet’s birth comes as Lebanon faces serious challenges, including repeated Israeli attacks on its sovereignty, land, and people in the south and other regions, and ongoing economic and living crises that continue to burden its citizens. Yet this unifying spiritual milestone reminds us that the values upon which it was founded—solidarity, tolerance, and coexistence—are precisely the same values that have always served as the rock of national consensus in Lebanon and the covenant of shared life among its diverse components.

From this standpoint, I call upon the Lebanese to draw inspiration from the Prophetic teachings in patience, steadfastness, and unity in confronting the aggression and targeting our homeland is enduring, and in advancing the journey of rebuilding a strong, fair state capable of protecting all its children without discrimination.

May Lebanon and its people be well each year, and may national unity remain our strongest shield against every challenge.
