Rajji on Al-Shibani Visit: A New Page in Relations with Syria

Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji wrote on the "X" platform:

The visit of His Excellency the friendly Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shibani came to consecrate a new page in Lebanese-Syrian relations, based on parity and mutual respect, full recognition of each country's sovereignty, and joint work stemming from the common interests of the two peoples.

His Excellency the Minister renewed the affirmation of Syria's full respect for Lebanon's sovereignty and independence, and non-interference in its internal affairs, while emphasizing the mutual commitment to developing bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in various fields, especially economic and developmental, and coordination in border control and combating smuggling.

Lebanon is proceeding to build a balanced relationship with the new Syria, from state to state, on the basis of full sovereignty, mutual respect, and good neighborliness, serving the interests of the two peoples and contributing to consolidating security and stability in the region.
