Rassamni Holds Meeting to Follow Up on Qlayaat Airport File

Minister of Public Works and Transport Faiz Rassamni held a meeting to follow up on the file of President Rene Moawad – Qlayaat Airport, in the presence of representatives from concerned administrations, agencies, and entities, particularly at the administrative, security, and operational levels.

The discussion focused on completed procedures and ongoing work within the framework of preparing for the airport's reopening, in addition to operational arrangements and coordination among various concerned parties, as well as following up on aspects related to administrative, security, technical, and logistical matters.

This meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport's follow-up on the stages of reopening Qlayaat Airport, completing the necessary legal, technical, security, and operational requirements, leading to the airport's readiness and preparation for actual operation according to international standards adopted in the field of civil aviation.
